Screws and Glue

Screwed and glued the nose former to the fuselage. Also installed the rudder dowel.

Nose Former

Cut out and rough-shaped the nose former. No pictues tonight - the digital camera is on the blink.

Attached the empennage

Empennage is a fancy french word meaning "the tail assembly of an airplane." I attached the aforementioned assembly, and have to admit that now it's really starting to look like a plane. Before, it was more like a canoe, or maybe a soap-box derby car.

First work of the New Year

I finally got around to buying a 3/16" roundover router bit, so I can get started on the tail pieces. I put the new bit to use in contouring the edges, and got the pieces glued up and clamped.
